Woonkamer inspiratie met zwart wit en pastel
Een favoriete combinatie dat altijd werkt, pastelkleuren met wit, zwart en grijstinten. Een kleurencombinatie wat je veel tegen komt in interieurs maar wat je steeds op een eigen manier kan invullen om zo toch een eigen woonstijl te creëren.

Woonstijl met pastelkleuren
Zelf hou ik erg van kleur in combinatie met een strak interieur met vooral een lichte basis. Contrast vind ik ook erg mooi in een interieur waarbij verschillende producten goed tot hun recht komen. De combinatie zwart-wit-grijs zorgt voor een sterk contrast in een interieur. Zelf vind ik deze combinatie wat te koel en daarom kan je door het toevoegen van pastelkleuren een zachtere uitstraling geven. Zo ook in dit prachtige huis van Melanie waar ik alweer een tijd geleden foto’s heb gemaakt voor een binnenkijker in het tijdschrift Flair.

Personally, I think that this combination is too cool and therefore you can give a softer look by adding pastel colors. Hoe pas je de kleuren toe ?
Wat altijd weer terug komt in projecten is balans. Balans in kleur, materiaal en product. Kijk goed waar je de focus op wil leggen in je interieur. Houd je juist van een strakke grafische en contrastrijke ruimte, kies dan voor zwart wit grijs en voeg wat pastelkleuren toe puur in de accessoires. Houd je juist van warmte maar in combinatie met deze strakke kleuren dan kan je ervoor kiezen om een wand in een pastelkleur te schilderen en deze kleur op meerdere plekken terug laten komen in de ruimte voor de juiste gebalanceerde verbinding.

Schuiven met woonaccessoires
Als ik een woning of ruimte ga inrichten ben ik altijd een tijd bezig met het schuiven van de accessoires. Vaak maak ik groepjes van producten waarvan er verschil is in kleur, hoogte en/of materiaal. Vaak kies ik voor een oneven aantal of in combinatie met andere producten voor een even aantal, ligt er net aan wat ik mooi vind staan. Zoals hier op de tafel van Melanie heb ik verschillende vazen neergezet en allemaal in een andere kleur of vorm. Maar doordat er twee witte vazen bij staan en de andere twee vazen in zacht pastel zijn uitgevoerd is het toch een rustig en sfeervol geheel.
If I’m going to set up a home or space, I am always taking my time to style the accessories in the right way. Often I make groups of products for which there is a difference in color, height and / or material. I often choose an odd number or in combination with other products to an even number, it is just what I think is beautiful for each setting. Like here at the table from Melanie I have put several vases and all in a different color or shape. But because two white vases standing between them and the other two vases are decorated in soft pastel, it is still a quiet and pleasant atmosphere.
