Op de salontafel
Nonchalant wat tijdschriften op de eettafel of salontafel neerleggen alsof het elk moment gelezen kan worden. Maar stiekem past de cover van het tijdschrift wel erg goed bij de rest van het interieur. Zo vind ik deze cover met palmbomen van Brownbook echt perfect matchen met de kleuren in mijn zithoek.
Create a nonchalant look by puting some magazines or books on the salontable or diningtable. It looks like the magazine was put there to be read every moment but in the mean time the cover of the magazine fits perfect in your interior. I really think this cover of brownbook looks amazing with the colours in my livingroom.
Stapeltje tijdschriften met een stolp
Een stapeltje tijdschriften kan perfect dienen om wat hoogteverschil te creëren of wat contrast met andere materialen. Plaats een stolp bovenop dit stapeltje voor een extra accent. Onder de stolp kan je van alles neerzetten. Wel goed als het bij het thema of kleurenpalet past.
A bunch of magazines is perfect for some differences in height or to add ome contrast.
Een gebalanceerd kleurenpalet
Het maken van kleuren paletten voor een interieur vind ik het leukste om te doen. Vooral het balanceren van deze kleuren in een interieur maakt het nog leuker. Zo passen deze ‘koffietafelboeken’ echt perfect bij deze foto aan de wand welke ik maakte vanuit een luchtballon in Luxor ( Egypte). Maar ook de accessoires, o.a. de prachtige vaas via ABn’G store uit Egypte, de ‘gouden’ decoraties van H&M en House Doctor en het lampje Transloetje van Fatboy.
Creating color palettes for an interior is the thing I like to do the most. Particularly the balancing of these colors in interior makes it even more fun. I apply these “coffee table books” in this corner of my home because it fits perfect with the photo I took from an airballoon in Luxor ( Egypt). But also the accessoiries matches, including the beautiful vase from ABn’G store, the ‘golden’ decorations from H&M and House Doctor and the lamp Transloetje from Fatboy.
Styling met een industriële kruk
Ik heb deze kruk al een tijdje en hij staat geregeld op verschillende plekken in mijn huis. Aan de eettafel, mijn ronde tafel in de keuken of gewoon ergens in een hoek. Nu heb ik wat tijdschriften erop gelegd welke ik nog moet lezen en dat staat eigenlijk ook wel erg leuk zo. Extra leuk aan deze foto vind ik dat mijn eerste coverfoto te zien is! Deze (horizontale) foto op de Designbeurs special van Vtwonen heb ik gemaakt 🙂 trots!
I have this industrial stool already for a while and it’s arranged in different places in my house. At the dinner table, my round table in the kitchen or just somewhere in a corner. Now I have put some magazines on it what I still need to read and it is actually also very nice in this way. What I like about this photo is to see my first cover photo. This (horizontal) photo on the Design Fair special of vtwonen is made by me 🙂 proud!
